Chief Executive Officer
Capt. Giri is a seasoned Ship’s Captain with extensive expertise in maritime operations, safety management, and regulatory compliance. His experience spans ship management, technical operations, audits, training, and marine inspections across diverse vessel types, including VLCCs, bulk carriers, container ships, and gas tankers.
He is a certified Internal and Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and an experienced maritime trainer for STCW ’95 courses. He has served as an Official Lecturer in Ship Construction (HND) at Glasgow Nautical College, UK, and has delivered HSE and OSHAS training to leading global shipping companies while contributing significantly to maritime education through authored study materials.
His professional roles include Sea Trial Master, STS Master, Pre-Vetting and Pre-Purchase Inspector, Marine Warranty Surveyor, and CAP Rating expert, with operational exposure across the Middle East and Africa. He has successfully established ship management companies, implemented comprehensive QHSE systems, and served as a Technical Advisor to IACS member societies, including Lloyd’s Register, DNV, and Bureau Veritas.
Capt. Giri is a Member of the Company of Master Mariners of India, an Associate Fellow of The Nautical Institute (UK), and a Founder Member of the Company of Master Mariners of India (Overseas Chapter – UAE). He remains committed to advancing safety, compliance, and operational excellence in the maritime industry.
